How to Start CrossFit
Anyone who is new to CrossFit has to take Foundations. We strive to move with virtuosity. That means doing the common uncommonly well. The best place to learn new skills and hone your abilities is in a one-on-one setting. There are four Foundation classes and each one builds on the last. As a previous high school teacher and university instructor I have a lot of experience building effective curriculums.
Our Foundation classes are done one-on-one with a coach. Each Foundation session is set up to flow just like our classes do. Each day starts off with a general warm up, then there is a specific warm up that involves more moving and stretching. Next, you will learn the skills for the day. This portion constitutes the bulk of the hour. After you feel confident in the new movements we cap the day off with a little workout.
How to Start CrossFit Lite
CrossFit Lite is designed to be for anyone who is completely new to working out or who is coming back to working out after giving birth or after a long fitness hiatus. We do not require Foundation classes for CrossFit Lite, BUT we do encourage anyone interested to do the Foundation classes.
Starting is a simple as coming for a free week to see get a feel for our program, coaches, and gym setting.
