I opened Verdant CrossFit in 2014. I bought CrossFit Acclaim in 2015 and CrossFit Refinery in 2017. In 2019 I opened Verdant CrossFit North in Star, Idaho.
I learned olympic lifting with Sean Waxman and in Russia. I ran cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track at Amherst College for 12 seasons. Before opening Verdant CrossFit I taught Russian and Russian literature at the University of Southern California and before that I taught high school in Mississippi. I was in Russia at various times with the state department and national science foundation. Here at Verdant and Verdant North, we are proud to be CrossFit Affiliates.
